Love, love, love this headset! The noise cancellation is wonderful. I was able to work on the computer with a football game playing in the same room. The person I was talking to could NOT hear all the background noise of the football game and I could NOT hear the football game either. Had I realized how well they worked I would have taken the leap much much sooner.

I loved the noise cancellation and ability to change the levels of noise cancellation. I found out that there’s nothing anything crazy new about these that greatly differentiate them from the q45s. However, the cypress green color is such a pretty and unique headphone color so if you really want the green and don’t mind splurging a bit more, I recommend!!!

Me han parecido una auténtica pasada estos Bose QuietComfort. Es la primera vez en mi vida que tengo esta marca y siempre me había llamado la atención por la calidad de su sonido, y la construcción que tienen sus barras de sonido.
Me han parecido una auténtica pasada estos auriculares. Su desempaquetado es de un producto completamente PREMIUM. Aunque algo que no me ha gustado es su forma, ya que hay otros auriculares de Bose que su forma es preciosa.
Estamos delante de uno de los auriculares con mejor calidad de sonido de este año, haciéndole competencia a Sony y a la propia Apple.
Son muy ergonómicos, no pesan mucho y la calidad de sonido es muy sorprendente. Se puede ajustar todo con su aplicación para ecualizarlos y actualizarlos.
Me parecen muy recomendables. Si quieres lo mejor de lo mejor, estos son tus auriculares.

As my headline states, I generally really like tech and gadgets (I built my last two PCs, but I still haven’t gotten a PS5…maybe later this year…). Anyway, I’m not an expert when it comes to headphones and audio quality, so this review is coming from a slightly-more-informed-than-an-everyday-consumer sort of perspective.
First of all, these look sleek and very cool. I actually have another pair of (much cheaper) ANC headphones, and from afar, they look almost identical, but up close, the Bose sports a smoother, thinner, and less clunky aesthetic. In terms of over the ear headphones, I’d say these are some of the slickest ones around.
Comfort is fantastic. I have a big head and big ears (AND I wear glasses), so finding the right fit is difficult for me. The ear muffs on these Bose headphones perfectly encapsulate my Dumbo ears, and interestingly, even though these are a tad more compact than my generic headphones, they are also a tiny bit wider, which is a blessing for my oblong head. The faux leather is also extremely soft and plush. More specifically, it is NOT hard, and I was able to wear my glasses comfortably for hours (as opposed to some other headphones where I can feel the temples pressing against my egghead and inducing mild, but extremely annoying headaches).
Noise cancelling is top notch. The earmuffs basically suction onto the sides of my head, and it almost feels like I’m in a sort of vacuum (though I understand that some people don’t like that type of feeling).
Functionality is very straightforward and simple. These use Bluetooth 5.1, while my PC and phone supports up to version 5.2, but I experienced no connectivity issues, and I was able to seamlessly switch between sound sources and devices (with an understandable second or two lag). Admittedly, I doubt the Bluetooth compatibility will matter much for most people. My other headphones support up to Bluetooth 5.0, and there was basically no difference with the Bose regarding speed and accuracy of connectivity. Additionally, there are only a few buttons, and the Bose app is also very simple (it’s basically just an audio EQ, though I’m not sure what else people would want to customize).
Sound quality is excellent. Again, I’m not an audiophile, but it was pristine, with decent bass (in all honesty though, I don’t think I could confidently notice the difference between the Bose and my more generic headphones).
Battery life is interesting…the product listing claims 24 hours of usage, which seems like a lot, and my first few hours of using this, I actually did not see ANY drop in battery life. BUT, my other headphones claim 60 hours…
Anyway, again, these are fantastic headphones. They are easy to use and are absolutely comfortable, while delivering great sound and providing an attractive look. Is it worth 5x as much as my other headphones? I’m not sure, but it is easy to notice the quality with these Bose headphones.

When I received these headphones I was almost hoping they wouldn’t be better than the conpetition from some less known and upcoming brands that have recently emerged in the market because I am a great proponent of the indie, the small guy but… hats off to Bose. Bose is still in the lead or… in the lead, again.

SOUND SIGNATURE:
I review audio playback equipment on a daily basis, mainly earbuds, headphones and IEMs so I listen to a TON of stuff and I know what I look for in the sound signature and I can tell you these absolutely check off all the marks. The bass is so well done in these. It’s strong, natural sounding, well rounded, punchy, deep. At the same time it does not overwhelm other frequencies and that’s because Bose created great sound staging in the new QC. Mids are slightly retracted by default to create the V curve in sound profile and it’s a good move, too. Vocals and saxophones are still clear and sound beautiful so nothing is lost and then we cone to the high end of the sound spectrum, the treble. I don’t think it’s easy to deliver wonderful sounding highs in a set of closed back ANC headphones because I see so many other manufacturers fail miserably in this area but Bose really pulled it off. I was PLEASANTLY surprised when I started listening to these and compared directly to their biggest competitor whose name starts with an S the new QC are WAY better sounding!
COMFORT: Perfect! The set is very lightweight, very comfy on your head, all pads are super soft. You can easily wear them for hours without any fatigue. Love it!
ANC: in short, the best ANC yet. So far, this is THE ONLY headphone out there that almost completely takes away the super loud sound of sheltie sheepdogs barking right next to you when you prepare their meals in your kitchen. No other market leading earbuds, headphones or anything else that claims who-knows-what level of noise cancellation was able to do this! Amazing!!! Not to even mention cafe noise, street noise, plane, car, train, erc. All of those are tasks this new Bose QC handles without breaking any sweat.
AESTHETICS: This is very simple: understated elegance. Typical for Bose, consistent with what we are used to seeing from the brand. Excellent. They look and feel beautiful!
CONNECTIVITY: If I was to find something to nag about this would be the only thing. If you don’t follow the exact steps the app wants you to do you won’t be able to get the app to “see” them and that means: open the app first, then turn the headphones on and get them to pair with your smart phone… if you pair them first and then start the app for the first time – forget about getting the app to play nice. At least that was my experience on iOS and iPhone 13 Pro but… it almost doesn’t matter. I hardly need the app at all to fully enjoy the product!
