I have a Gormia small Air fryer and I like it but this one seems like it gets too hot and smoke rolls out of while preheating.

I liked the compact nature of this 20L Air fryer, and it was well made, but after using it a few times, i just felt it struggled to do it’s job, if you used the drip tray it killed the circulation, so you would have to turn the items constantly to get them to cook evenly, i think the biggest design flaw with this unit is that they use a small fan, likely a 120mm fan, that shoots air from the side, which means that it won’t circulate air nearly as well as a top firing fan, the fan is also not very powerful, it’s actually very quiet, which is nice, but if it’s not moving enough air, then what’s the point, the faster the air moves in an air fryer the better. This unit is more like a XL toaster oven with a convection feature, the fan needs to move MUCH, MUCH more air than that to be classified as an air fryer. This was not the experience i was looking for.

I wanted an Air Fryer, but when I searched, the Gourmia GTF7360 12-in-1 Digital Air Fryer Oven came up as an option and I liked that it could do many types of cooking. I cleared a space on my counter for it and set it up immediately, when it recently came. It came quickly after ordering, really well packaged, and in perfect condition! Although I bought it for its air frying capabilities, I didn’t have anything to air fry at the moment, so I used the baking feature, which is excellent, and the toaster, which toasted perfectly without any adjustments!! I must confess that I haven’t yet tried the air fryer, but I am sure (from all the excellent reviews I read) that it will be great, too! This oven comes with a booklet of air fryer recipes created for this air fryer oven, which I wasn’t expecting, but with which I am delightfully surprised! Each recipe has a colorful photo of the finished item–they all look delicious!! These foods are a sampling of the international flavors in Brooklyn, such as Beet Chips, Bourbon Pecan Brownies, Bar Nuts, Za’atar Spiced Chicken Bites, Fancy Hot Pockets, Cauliflower Cacio e Pepe, Sriracha Air Fried Potatoes, Banana Leaf Fish, Shawarma Chicken Thighs, and many others–a gourmet’s delight!! (Of course, there are many types of cookbooks available that include recipes for air frying that would be a complement to this one, which would also work in this air fryer oven.) It is important for any such appliance to clean it after each use; this is very easy and quick to clean. Read and follow the directions, which are clear, and you should be fine. I am very happy that I made this purchase and am looking forward to using it often!

 I needed a mini oven until I can afford a new real one.

This can bake a box cake.
It can also fit a bread pan.
It can fit a Pyrex pie dish.
It might be able to fit a small whole chicken if the chicken has foils or something to protect it from touching the top heating elements. But if whole chickens are your thing, get a different oven for sure.
It can fit a frozen pizza if I cut off an inch or two from one edge. Check the shape of the pans to see what I mean as the depth is 11” not 12”. I did a photo with a standard sheet of paper to give you an idea.

I’m loving it.

Fry preset button is 425*, at 18 minutes.
Broil sets to 450* for 10 minutes.

135-450 cooking range.

The basket would easily get destroyed. I can already see that I’ll keep it for the cleaner stuff, like frozen fries.
